The Master Gardeners of Delaware County (www.delcomga.org) have graciously donated plant material, their time, and their labor to create our beautiful garden. The expanse bordering the south end of our building has been planted with various vegetables including tomatoes, bell peppers, hot peppers, peas, herbs, and more. The garden is also accented with beautiful and colorful flowers. All will be harvested and given to our patients to enjoy as well as providing valuable nutrients for their health.
The Giving Garden at Linden is acquired, planted, tended, and harvested by the kindnesses of Pastor Dan Green and Octavia Crawford. We are so grateful for their efforts and to others in the surrounding area who harvest and donate produce to the clinic each Saturday morning during the summer growing season. The wonderful vegetables that are graciously provided help to promote the health of the community through your generous efforts.
There are volunteer opportunities to work together with our Master Gardeners and the clinics to provide for the care, maintenance and harvesting of our gardens.
